Highlights of Montana

The next few posts are all about my Montana trip. In case you don't want to see all the posts you can just check out the highlights....
My grandma's backyard. How cool is this. A forest. The kids made a fort back here and any time we were waiting for Tina to do her hair in the mornings or late nights the kids were back here exploring.
We went to the Glacier maze one day while Grandma and Great Grandma went to Missoula. This was perfect because it was lot of running around. The kids loved it. You had to go to each corner of the maze and stamp your ticket with a M-A-Z-E and the whole thing was timed. I think we did it in about 45 min.

As soon as we got to Grandma's house we walked to the park then walked to Whitefish Lake. We spent a day here watching the kids swim and dig for clay in the sand. This was a flash back from my childhood summer days.

The drive was 12 hours from Spanish Fork to Whitefish. Holy Moley that is a long time with 6 kids, 3 adults, and 1 dog in a car.

Right before I left I snapped a picture of my Grandma Ruth saying our goodbyes. So sad. She doesn't like you to take pictures of her so you have to sneak one.

This is the middle of the Cedar walk we did.

Picnic lunch by the river. The kids were skipping rocks.

You need one of these. Love all their poses.

You can't go to Montana without having one of these Huckleberry shakes. They were so good.
I even came home with a gallon bag of wild huckleberries. Can't wait for pancakes.
