Randy wanted a new project for our kids. The cows were too big so baby lambs next. We got them last week and it only took a day for the lambs to figure out the bottles. We are keeping them at our house for a few weeks so it is easier to feed them 4 times a day. All the neighbor kids are taking turns coming over to feed the lambs. For a lot of them they haven't ever done that so it is a treat. I raised bummer lambs growing up so all of this is a trip down memory lane for me. The smell of the milk to waking up at 7AM for the first feeding. I love that Randy comes up with these ideas for the kids to learn responsibility and work, but who do you think ends up doing most of the work? Right! So far the kids play outside with them and volunteer to feed, we will see how long it lasts.
On the left is Courtney's (Dora-pretending it is a girl) On the right is Ashley's lamb called Little Bob Tibbits, but Ashley named him Buddy.
This is Justin's and he named him Cocoa.
They follow you everywhere!
